Dune Planting
On Thursday July 2nd, Room 14 and 9 went down to the Main Mount Beach to plant spinifex. We had to go with some parents. Some of us went with Zoe's Mum in her people mover! When we got there, Maria taught us how to plant the spinifex. We dug about thirty holes with a spade for the plants so they don't blow away. That was the best part plus sprinkling the fertilizer in. Now I think we can go down and check our plants next time we go to the beach. So make sure you walk down the path where the sign is and there are no plants.

Wow that is great doing some dune planting. That will ensure that our beautiful beach remains just that for us all to enjoy when summer comes back! Which isn't too far away... Well done Room 14!
