In our reading book we have been learning how to make 'pop up cards'
You will need to have a pencil a ruler scissors and glue. You need to have two pieces A 4 paper and fold them in half and then rule eight cm long down the page 2.5 cm across and then copy it.
Then open the card and push the flap through the inside. Crease the flap the other way and then it stands up and you can open and close it. Then you glue the other piece of paper onto the first piece of paper then on your third piece of paper draw a cool drawing.
It is very tricky and you might need a adult to help you.
When the glue is dry you write a message on the card then give the card to someone special!!

Zoe I sent you an earlier message but I'm not sure I did everything I needed to ... so it may not have got to you :) Room 8 would love to see Room 14s pop up cards when you have finished them and when you have some time. You explained the process so well I think Roo 8 should try them as well! Ms Deane
